Madhsudan Das Degree College (popularly known as MDDC) is affiliated to Deen Dayal Upadhyay University Gorakhpur and is one of the best private institutes for higher education in Gorakhpur.

MDDC is run by Madhusudan Das Jain Memorial Society. The society was set up in 2003, to perpetuate the name of Late Lt. Rai Bahadur Madhudusan Das (M.L.C) who was a well renowned sociocratic leader and a philanthropist. Rai Bahadur Sahab (as he is popularly remembered even today) was a Member of the Legislative Council and was also awarded the title of Honorary Second Lieutenant in the year 1950 for his services to the nation by the then President of India DR. RAJENDRA PRASAD JI. He had dedicated his life for the upliftment of education in Eastern UP. Some of his noteworthy contribution to the Society as follows
